Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Prostate-My Friend's Journey

Acrostic (came the darkness)

Came the darkness with unseen force
Absorbing light, my future's source
Mauled by words I cannot pronounce
Emasculated ounce by ounce  
 
The water's calm I cannot swim
Hilltop views just memories bring
Envisaged steps begin to fade
 
Devouring prints I never made
As friends parade my future hope
Remedies fail 'pon doctors note
Knowledge engulfs a silent room
Negating smiles applied too soon
Entrusted now to faith's belief
Soothing visions replace my grief
Silver linings become relief
