A relationship to break the chains. 1/27/17

Once...

Once there was a man who was like no other.

He slipped into my dreams as if it were his home.

He had a way about him

that was as warm as the brightest sun upon my flesh.

He broke down the largest barriers

within me.

It was almost as if he had a key

to all of my locks.

He came in to heal;

Not damage my soul.

He tried so hard

to pack my wounds.

He soon realized that not all the damage

was going to be quickly healed.

I, myself, had to do such healing.

He stayed close by,

keeping guard,

maintaining my safety;

Even while i had to go places he could not.

He remained strong

on his knightful journey of protection.

He defended me as if i were his kingdom

& a threat had been made.

this Threat...

Required my consistent awareness;

And victim like state.

It took me to a cage of terror;

that cage of invisible restraints

my knight freed me from.

Unwillingly,

i had to go back

through the radioactive sludge

& infect myself with the Plague again.

Although this time,

I aquired antibodies

to defend it's creeping control.

I brought the knight,

internally

to this party.

I learned the route

I must take

to fully enjoy my life..

My Freedom.

This Path....

Requires me to head through the darkest parts

of a mountainous forest;

with razor blade shade,

rusted screw bolders

infectiouslly used needles;

which I have to go through

as a naked babe.

But...

I will make it.

I will make it through

all of it,

in order to be freed with my knight

& our beautiful Family.

I will do it all

over & over again

so i can feel his warmth.

So I can breath

The fresh Air

and feel the wind upon my face

as a

FREE WOMAN.

Forever & Eternity

I will Fight for

You.

This darkness wont have hold of One for long.

This is the beginning of my journey. One lovely human, whom also had a significant chronic illness connected with me on the medical level of understanding. He helped me see what a relationship was supposed to be. I will forever appreciate him & his journey within my life. He taught me a lot of lessons as I also shared others with him. His presence on this planet is missed, but he sent me a glorious replacement & this poem also applies to him.
