Forget to Forget you

I wish I didn't love you

and desire you the way I do

I wish to forget you
 


but if I stop loving you

the pain would be unbearable

so I forget to forget you
 


and if I demand payment

for services rendered

I would ask not to desire you
 


but if we parted

the pain would be too much to bear

for my poor broken heart
 


and if I can't see you again

I wouldn't need my eyes

to cry a sea of tears
 


I can't undo

the way I love and need you

and my rebel adoration
 


and even if I stop

seeing you

desiring you
 


and even if I stop

thinking of you

my grief would be so much
 


I would forget to forget you
