No bells to announce our unholy heavenly joy

thankfully our baby child was unaware

claiming Prince of Peace to a sinful world

a gracious example of God’s right hand

while here on earth we’re left to confusion

given over to a scientific reconstruction

So our year closes hailing peace and good will

all based on gender recognition

all hail Satan’s disguise Santa’s surprise

over tones of Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction

debased theology of an unforgiven apprehension
