My Baby Starling

I saw, then captured a flightless baby bird running into traffic. Even though I'm allergic to birds, I couldn't leave her. She would have died. Two home meals and she imprinted on me.
My starling speaks my words and comes when called.

This is a true story. There's so much more to share. My starling is a gift. I took a chance, being allergic to birds, but her story can't be ignored. The photo is my starling at about 7 months.
