The still of night

A monster lurks beneath my skin

writhing mass of blatant wrath.

Lucifer’s friend holds council

dealing and begging the evil within.

I feel it deep in my bowels

forging war in all its sin.

My bones rattle my blood turns cold

rampant depravity destroyed my pride.

Raging stirring stealing what lies beneath

God has no place where evil lives and breathes.

A body of clay breaks in awkward desperation

the release is close cold and unfeeling.

Take this evil within

choke it down the chasm of escape

where revenge belongs to me.

Make my bowels free,

Release this stool from me ... !
