Santa Got Run Over By My Grandma

by gramalot8

Santa got run over by my Grandma

As she drove around on Christmas Eve

She wasn’t ‘sposed to be out there by herself

But she had something sneaky up her sleeve.

She really wanted to connect with Santa

And did not want to let her family know

So she stole Grampa’s keys out of his pocket

And drove that car right out into the snow

Santa got run over by my Grandma

As she drove around on Christmas Eve

She had to drive awhile until she found him

To prove that  he’s alive so we’d believe.

We’ve been giving her a hard time

Santa’s just a myth is what we’d say

He is just a fantasy for children

How can you still believe in him today?

Grandma turned the corner just as Santa

And his reindeer parked out on the street

Grandma bumped her car into his sleigh ride

Dumping Santa out onto his feet

I’m sorry that I crashed into you, Santa

But I’m desperately in need of help from you

My family thinks I’m crazy for believing

I need you to come show them you are true.

Santa got run over by my Grandma

As she drove around on Christmas Eve

She found him, crashed him, asked him, please go with me

Dear Santa help my family to believe.

Santa looked into the face of Grandma

Noticing the tears upon her cheek

I’d be happy to go home with you, dear Grandma

Then he turned and gave his deer a wink

Come Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, and all reindeers

We’ll fly to Grandmas house this Christmas Eve

Then Santa led my Grandma to his sleigh ride

Let’s go and help your family to believe.

Santa got run over by my Grandma

Just to prove her point on Christmas Eve

Now thanks to my sweet Grandma and dear Santa

Myself and all my family now believe.
