Dear Santa's not coming this year
He has been sad, he's lost his cheer
His ho ho ho, says no no no
His spirits are so low low low


For quite a while, he's been depressed
When he wakes up, he won't get dressed
He sits on his stuffed chair all day
Or else in just an empty sleigh


One problem, there's no reindeer games
They won't come when he calls their names
They say for what the fat guy weighs
They do the work, he gets the praise


And then the elves have gone on strike
Their tempers continue to spike
The only thing kids know of elves
Is how to put them on the shelves


Nobody cares that all the toys
Are made by elves for girls and boys
They say he works them like a dog
While Santa's just a glory hog


The reindeer and the elves all said
His belly's smaller than his head
Yes, Santa's losing his control
There will be change at the North Pole

Now Santa has apologized
For his ego was super-sized
The reindeer and the elves will see
An equal opportunity 

They'll work real hard so they can make 
Enough toys for Santa to take
On Christmas Eve, then he will fly
Perhaps for Christmas in July
