If Only

IF ONLY...
 
If only it could be a Silent Night
No ambulance sirens
Or police cars with flashing lights.
A night so still, free from crime
A Holy Night of love divine.
 
If Upon the Midnight Clear
Glad tiding would ring so dear.
Wars would cease
Guns and weapons we lay down
Reminiscent of Bethlehem Town
 
If there was Joy To TheWorld
Every person would be free as banners unfurled.
Hailing the Savior's birth
Granting every soul Peace On Earth.
