But...It may leave tomorrow
Grief Pays No Mind to Time
by Janet Foor

Grief doesn't seem to fit in this wonderful advent season, but holidays are sometimes hard for those of us who are mourning a loved one. We struggle with memories and the desire to turn back the clock. For me, it's not a death of a loved one that I mourn, but a child who has rejected his family. After 28 years, I know that without my Savior, I could not endure the pain I experience when Grief comes along and sits right next to me.
I do love the word "but", to me it signifies change and when faced with grieving, I know I'm ready for a change. Change in scenery, change in attitude, change to looking up instead of down. In other words, counting my blessings and not my woes.
Thank you for reading.
