As Long As You Are Alive

as long as you're alive,

I'll feel you in my heart

and know it in my mind
 


I'll search the ocean

from the sizzling shore

to the deep abyss
 


I'll search the land

through colorless valleys
 
and pointless mountains
 
 

I'm barely living

tangled in the penumbra

of your absence
 


I'm utterly alone

in the never-ending night

of my unloved soul
