This work has reached the exceptional level
What happened to the frog in the rain.

Robbed of his Throb

Rain Frog Contest Winner 
 
A big bullfrog sat in the rain-filled drain
throbbing his voice with a throaty refrain.
He sucked up a pebble – it stuck and he choked;
so then the poor froggy, well sadly, he croaked.

Just in case some readers are not familiar with the alternative meaning, in this context 'he croaked' means he died. (But I reassure you he had enjoyed a long and fulfilling career, a happy love life, and many offspring.)
