The Disturbance

Alma was disturbed by a noise coming from the pantry. It sounded like scurrying feet, and as she was afraid of mice, panic set in. She found the old broom, walked towards the continuous noise and investigated. She was sure something was amiss inside. Opening the door, she smiled. There amid the potato chips sat Rocket, her kitten munching merrily.
