I saw the Detectives walk into my boss’s office. I knew it was about me.
Walking to the roof, I texted my wife, explaining what happened and why the police would be at the house soon.
Standing at the roof’s edge, I jumped.
As I fell, my phone pinged, it was a text from my wife. “Honey, are you okay?”
