Sin's Prisoner

by BermyBye50

In the dimly lit confines of a small, musty room, Alex sat, shackled by the weight of his past. Guilt and remorse were the invisible bars that confined him, their grip stronger than any iron chains. Every night, he relived that fateful moment when his choices led to another's pain. The faces of those he'd hurt haunted his dreams, a constant reminder of his actions. He longed for redemption, to escape the prison of sin he'd built for himself. In time, he vowed to find a way to make amends, to break free from the self-imposed cell, and seek forgiveness.
