Poetry must stir the Soul,

words alone are not the whole,

text should jump into your eyes,

open your mind, reach the skies.

Fight with heroes, hide with spies,

be the storm, the wind that flies,

sit with the birds at sunrise.

Feel the lows, enjoy the highs,

live the tale in any guise.

Let your Soul free; watch it rise.

Write a short rhyming poem, ie no more than ten lines, with the same number of syllables in each line, about writing poetry.
