The Hunter Becomes The Prey

by Douglas Goff

he spotted her from afar

lured her from the club to his car

now sitting in her living room bar

in her late teens

creating lusty mental scenes

in those sexy tight jeans

for her pretty smile

he'll sit for a while

this lady has style

her silver blouse is hiding treasures

just the right curves made for his pleasures

he wonders what she measures

her skin looks so tender and soft

how to get her up to that bedroom loft

gonna score her tonight he scoffed

she hands him a drink

her dark eyes make it hard to think

her pouty lips so lusciously pink

he takes a deep swallow no time for sips

her body moves to the music as she sways her hips

her mouth finds his and she kisses his lips

tastebuds are soggy

mind grows foggy

eyelids feel groggy

his taste grows bland

he can no longer stand

unable to raise even his hand

now giving a hickey

this woman is tricky

she slipped him a Mickey

foiled by spiked tonic and gin

she’s a wanted killer of men

she flashes a serial killer grin
