Little squirrel in a tree has the best view point!

What can you see?

by Gina Schneller

Little squirrel in the tree,

Please tell me all you can see?

A viewpoint unlike others.

The scenery and colors.

___

Can you see the pond below?

Just beyond the great willow.

Animals from far and near,

Drinking cool water; so clear!

___

Can you see the antelope?

Leaping over the steep slope.

Dancing, playing gleefully.

Wandering the fields freely!

___

Can you see the elephant?

So large, yet so elegant.

Marching so proudly in line.

Young, old, others in their prime!

___

The giraffe stands big and tall,

Biting the leaves as they fall.

Little squirrel, can’t you see?

They frolic and play; so free!
