Finding Hope

I walk no more this path alone
a hand now there for me to hold
with gentle touch first love was shown
and daylight shone as once was told

this story tells my future plan
as faith is now reborn in me
igniting hope to rise a man
where loneliness will never be

I hold a hand forever strong
that lifted me from down below
without a fee or promised song
accepting me with naught to show

I'll walk with Thee upon this road

and learn to sing and walk among

those who stepped 'round my abode

so they can see their Father's son
