A Pleiades Poetry Contest Entry

Him

by John Cranford

Pleiades Poetry Contest Winner

Hurried in life we seem to be,
Having so many things to do.
Hours on end, busy are we,
Happy we think, but is that true?
He is our joy, it's in His face,
Hidden with Him, filled with His grace,
His arms a home, a resting place.

Writing Prompt
Write a Pleiades poem for this contest. This poetry type requires a title with a single word. The poem itself has seven lines. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. See an example of this type of poem here.
