A broken man

Here I am on my knees again.

Praying to someone I barely believe in.

Asking for a way to fix what is broken.

If that door is closed why isn't another one open?

Bottle after bottle I try to drown my sin.

Waiting on something good to finally begin.

I burn my lungs with smoke until the days end.

If life is just a game then how do I win?

They say I am a good man but they are always leaving.

If i deserve better then why am I losing?

I am fighting so hard to find what is destined.

Giving so much to others that I end up with nothing.

I tore down my walls just to have my heart stolen.

Why do you make me feel so lost when she was just one person?
