If my eyes could truly see

I'd see so much joy surrounding me.

I'd see the beauty in the sun shining bright -

Joy in the stars dancing at night.

I'd never mind a cloudy day,

Only joy would pass my way.

     If my eyes could truly see

     A joy filled world would call to me. . . .

           flowers dancing in the rain -

           neighbors waving and feeling no pain -

           bees buzzing a happy tune -

           even a smile from the man in the moon.

                   If my eyes could truly see

                   I'd see so much joy surrounding me.
