Fear may threaten but it can be defeated.

Fear Can Be Conquered

Fear is a dark shadow
Lurking just behind
Waiting to pounce
 
Fear is a whisper
Telling you that you're
Not good enough
 
Fear is a cold blindfold
That screens your eyes
From beauty that surrounds
 
Fear is a monster
Comes in the night
Wanting to eat you
 
Fear can be an illusion
Still makes your heart race
Triggers either fight or flight
 
However, fear is not all evil
It can alert us to danger
A warning to be careful
 
But don’t let fear control you
Face your fears, let others help
Fight, show fear, you are the boss.
