The Peril of the Knotted Nose

by Wils

I don't suppose you know of those
Who have a strange, peculiar nose
One that is lengthy, like a vine
Well, that is me, I think it's fine

I'd like to tie it in a knot
But I cannot, it blocks the snot
There'd be a build-up then a burst
Believe me, there is nothing worse

People who have pretty hair
Would see snot flying through the air
On them, it would surely tuck
A piece of icky-sticky yuck

If your lunch is a bowl of soup
Watch out for the sound, KER-PLOOP
A green thing would be in your bowl
Something new to warm your soul

So, I leave my nose undone
It swings freely in the sun
An elephant and me, it's clear
Have things in common, that seems queer
