A Kyreille for the Potlatch CLub

These old bones

by JLR

While out, sometimes I miss the sky.
Carefully strolling bye and bye,
watching each step for more than stones
So go the aches in my old bones.

My head bent ever so slightly.
I rub each tired shoulder nightly,
with lotion from my old sawbones.
So go the aches in my old bones.

Muddling around, I think, not sound,
I come to this odious ground,
flushing pills with skull and crossbones
So go the aches in my old bones.

Yet, my mind teases, playing tricks!
When each pain ceased with a quick fix,
but then I snap out of such zones ...
So go the aches in my old bones.
