A chapter in the book 2023 Gypsy's Free Verse
I'm Envious of the Rain
by Gypsy Blue Rose
I’m envious of the rain that touches your face and paints your body’s silhouette
I’m envious of the night that cuddles with you from dusk till dawn while you dream of us
I’m envious of the wind that tosses your hair in a playful way with susurrous of love
I wish you and your girl the best in life but part of me wishes it wasn’t like that
it’s hard for me to know you moved on
