Puddin' Cups

Now you can date me comely sister

Even take her to the picture show

You can gently snuggle up to her

Kiss her sweetly don't ya know

But don't you be a grabbin'

Reachin' from down to ups

Searchin' with a plastic spoon

To eat me puddin' cups

You can gurgle me Cajun Rum

Tickle the tummy of me pups

But your hand is at risk from a flashing blade

If you reach for me puddin' cups

Now when God was out inventin'

Even fo' he invented the pups

He gathered al the angels

"Let's mix some puddin' cups."

Hear now in the distance

Ships be loading stem and toward

With gold and spice and rum

But treasure was puddin' cups aboard

When you meet the Devil

Have a puddin' cup in hand

With a little bit of blarney luck

He may leave you on the land

Ole Foster was lying still as Death

Put a puddin' cup under his nose

He jumped up with a jingle jangle

Happy enough don't ya 'spose

He even tickled up a campfire

Roasty and toasty so they say

Wiggled above a puddin' cup

For a poor man's Creme Brulee'
