Love is going the extra mile
Even when you are tired
Going back and trying again
No matter how many times it has been
 
Love is letting some things slide
Even when they do things you can't stand
Working it out, doing it all again
Not letting your feelings, but good sense, rule
 
Love is apologizing whether you do or don't do wrong
And trying to make them happy from now on
Working hard to make it work
Compromising and planning it out
 
Love is being there day after day
Through all the trials and struggles
Through the happy times and smiles, as well
While staying together forever
