Turn It Around

If ever you feel sad or blue,
try to remember this:
You have the chance to start anew,
change what has gone amiss.

So listen close while I tell you
The secret to your bliss;
Move on from what's left you to rue,
No matter what it is.

A voice says you won't make it through;
It’s fear, and you're not bound;
since you control this point of view,
then regulate its sound

Your dreams are your dreams to pursue,
your shots, yours to rebound.
One step is all it takes, it's true,
Get back on solid ground.

There's always something you can do,
You’re far from being helpless.
And you've got more than just a few
your moments here are endless

So if a moment passes you,
the next need not be found;
it's right behind; all you must do
is turn yourself around.
