Emotional Disconnection

Lost without a map,
On a solo journey
Navigating a desert of despair,
Emotional disconnection
Leads to loneliness limiting life.
Isolated, trapped within a closed-off world,
Never finding your tribe,
Existing, but not wholly living –
Such is the sadness of
Solitary subsistence.
