I am lonely, for what I've lost

I wish she was still witrh me at any cost.

Life comes, life goes,

When it will end no one knows.

My memories sustain me for what I've had,

The good ones far outweigh the bad.

If you have someone, you hold dear,

Give them love, while they're still here.

When God calls your loved one home,

You'll feel like me, always alone.

Writing Prompt
Write a free verse poem to express the state of loneliness in not more than 15 lines.

The girl/woman, of my heart and dreams passed on April twentieth, One forty PM. 2015, 8 years ago. I miss her every second of the day. The loneliness comes and it will always be there until we are reunited.
