Shopping Malls

by sunnilicious

We have to go to school.
We have to go to work.
We have to enjoy life,
Also, we live in comfort and socialize,
But there isn't always a party,
And so, we go to the mall.

The shopping mall is a social environment.
They have grocery stores, pharmacies,
department stores, gift stores, food courts,
gyms, movie theaters, amusements and more...
They have parking lots with electric car outlets,
And if close to home, familiar faces.

The shopping mall is always there.
A place to buy things we need or want.
A place to buy things to create comfort,
When we are at school, work or home.
A place to linger and observe;
art, architecture, people, cars, prices.
A place we accumulate memories
From socializing with others or not.

NOTES: I always have a mall to visit. I don't really go anymore because of the pandemic, but it's nice to know they are there. I went to REI at the Burbank Empire Center today to pickup some spring/summer things to enjoy the mountains and parks nearby me. Also, I went another strip mall to pick up a Subway tuna mayo footlong. Have a GOOD FRIDAY into Easter Weekend :)
