SEASONS OF CHANGE

Chapter 1

Seasons in Nature

Each second binds united to create time.

Sixty minutes bound together makes an hour.

Hours we count as twenty-four gives us one day.

While seasons flow from sublime springtime

into crazy hazy days of summer with heat often dour,

until yielding to the arrival of autumn's archway.

I'd prefer these seasons had more playtime.

Much more than winter's death grip power

straining life, slowing the steps of life's ballet.

But every second, minute, hour is prime.

Such balance of power, nature will never cower.

Bringing all our senses into play every day.
