Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Make Your Choice

Diamonds are forever;
Memories are as well.
but of the two
which would you choose
when life comes to an end?

For me, it's easy,
as the gem shall return
from whence it came
but our keepsakes
last eternally.

A fleeting glance,
we soon held hands
while leaving footprints
in wave-lapped sand;
lips met lips; we shared a kiss
stirring wanton interests.

The rest is left unrecorded;
too decadent for innocent minds,
and yet, life should be
spent with a beloved.
Therefore, I suggest,
you keep your eyes open
for a passing glance of your own.
