This is a story most pregnant women can relate to.
Back in1966 I became pregnant with my first born. I was lucky I never had morning sickness with all three.
It was during that time we stopped and retired from the horse world and settled down to married life in 1965. We still followed our friends even till this day we have stayed in contact.
We this story center around me and my salt free diet the doctor put me on. It would not have been so bad but during that time my husband happened to be working in the potato chip plant, It was a horrible thing to be happening to me. He brought huge bags of chips, cheese curls, and corn chips, and the like home with him to give to his nieces and nephews!That same week the doctor put me on a salt free diet,No salt whatsoever! Nada zilch !No starches like pasta or potatoes either. All the things I loved I couldn't have. Had to read every can of veggies to make sure there was no salt in them also. Nine months seemed to drag in forever. August was so darn hot! We didn't have air condition back then either! My daughter decided she was going to be born two days after my 21st birth August 15th she was born c-section after
being in labor for over 17 hrs. And she weighed in at 8 ls7 oz. That was a big surprise! Salt is my enemy still till this day. My son was born in 1967 weighed in five and three quarter. He stayed in the hospital over fifteen Dave with meningitis he caught when he was born. Our last child was born in 1973 he weighed in 7 lbs 3 ounces.
Now they all are grown and have children of their own .I have seventeen total grand kids And 7 blood great grand kids. That's all for now? Ooops! Just reminded another great grand child one due in the near future.
