End of Time
by Wils
Wendy One-Second lay gasping. She was flung across the room when it happened. Whatever “it” was. One minute she had been ticking, the next she had stopped. Her friend, Two-Minute Tom, was groaning on the floor surrounded by shards of glass.
The clock she lived in lay dying, it’s hands bent behind one another and face barely recognisable. The gaping hole in the wall showed clearly what had happened.
Wendy couldn’t help wondering if this was the end of time.
