Carefully laying on softness

and always talking nonsense, 

right when he says my two syllables,

loving those six letters - making them incredible. 

I am falling in love with my own name,

ever sounding great, not the same. 


But it’s only when he speaks -

everone else makes my name creak. 

There isn’t light in my name like his,

however, when he says it, there is.
