Writing Prompt Former FanStory member, Y.M. Roger, originally created this form. It requires a syllable count of 2-4-6-8-10-9-7-5-3-1. The first line is two syllables; the second line is four syllables, and so on until the last line is one syllable. The first line and last line MUST be SYNONYMS. There is no rhyme requirement, although it isn't discouraged. You are encouraged to center your poem, but it isn?t required. |
