The Writer

Surprise! 80 Words or Less Contest Winner
The accomplished writer typed out some more words. He was working on a piece about how the dead sometimes had trouble letting go of the things they loved most in life.
A loved one. A favorite house. An item. This accounted for many hauntings. Their unwillingness to let go.
He typed out a few more words, completing the piece. He loved to write.
With a sigh, he hit submit and leaned back in the chair. Then surprisingly, he slowly disappeared . . .
