Goddess of Love

I thought she was my goddess of love
One who came from heaven above
Her voice was like the coo of a dove
 
In my dream she was my forever queen
With her my heart felt fresh and clean
When I was with her life was serene
 
Then he came and stole her away
 
He became her regular date
My heart boiled with hate
Some say it was just my fate
 
I wanted to kill the filthy bastard
Went out and got plastered
Finally, my emotions I mastered
 
Then I met a new goddess of love
