They may not be who they seem

Don't Be Jealous of the Zealous

Are you jealous of the zealous
who may come across as gracious?
They may seem like noble fellas
but are oftentimes fallacious.

Their depiction of conviction
may seem great without reflection,
but it’s often purely fiction,
which you’ll see on close inspection.

Be suspicious they’re malicious
if they start to be evasive
when you question their positions.
Watch 'em then become abrasive.

Spurn jealousy of zealotry.
Seek those with known integrity.
Feel certain their civility
will always be exemplary.
