Don't visit a witch if you're not polite.

Maggie, the Witch

by BethShelby

Maggie Ophelia Belinda Malone

is a wise old witch who lives all alone.

In her crooked hut made of sticks and stone,

she makes her magic with a mojo bone.

She has a helper that’s a cross-eyed cat.

She flies using radar of a vampire bat.

Maggie will be wearing her witches’ hat,

as she mixes potions in a cast-iron vat.

If you need a charm and you’re not afraid,

you must bring coins `cause she has to be paid,

or for mandrake roots you dig with a spade.

she might be willing to make you a trade.

She can cure your warts and your bad colds, too,

if you follow what she tells you to do.

But if you’re not polite when she gets through,

I wouldn’t advise you to drink her brew.
