The Gift Of Forgiveness

What is an undying bestowing of pardon?

Forgiveness is a gift,

wrapped in sterling silver ribbons from

the injured.

It enters the chambers of healing hearts,

and eases the aches, the wounds.

It reverberates in celebratory trumpets

as God's voice is golden to the ears.

He makes forgiveness attainable,

as wanting vengeance wears down

the sorrowed psyche.

Dreams begin to become more

peaceful,

bursting with a starry brightness

fulfilling God's works of

compassion for the forgiver,

and forgiven.

The gift of forgiveness,

brings joyous angels' songs

that comforts and quiets anger,

oh, my departed love -

please forgive me. ~
