An unexpected journey

Senility

Senility. Not the thing described.
Grotesque. Profound beauty.
Pain, sorrow, fear inside
Lead weight. Grief. And duty.

Broken. Changed. Lost at times.
Grateful for abatement.
A moment. Sad and twisted tines.
Lines. Jagged content.

Waiting. Lost again. Afraid.
Sad. Mostly. Nothingness.
Why? No! Muted dismay.
Blessedly, peacefulness.
