They'd be face to face...
One Last Time
by Boogienights
He needed to see her face one more time. Their love affair was over, he knew that as a certainty, but he knew deep down he couldn't live with himself without the closure of seeing her just one more time. It ended quick and harsh, bitter words on both sides, but he couldn't leave it at that and get on with his life. On this moonless night, the dark wrapped around him like a cloak, quiet and still. He'd see her just one last time, then, let go. He headed to the back yard, shovel in hand and started digging.
