Spring Fever!

by Boogienights

I love it when the seasons change,
while each of them have varied charms,
When winter ends and coldness wanes..
I welcome spring with open arms.

The warming of the fresh spring air,
the loveliness of azure skies,
with all that's growing everywhere,
delightful colors greet my eyes.

Then merry music fills the air,
as songbirds put their concerts on.
Soon, everything is green and fair,
now winter's reign has come and gone.

Spring leads up to a happy place,
where peaceful waters gently flow.
The squirrels race 'round at such a pace,
their antics put on quite a show.

Of all four seasons, spring's the best,
we wait on tenterhooks to see...
Its beauty, unmatched by the rest.
All that was dormant, now set free
