The cat gets ready for Christmas

Christmas Cat

on Christmas day
Susie the family cat
wanted to play
then she saw a rat

Susie did not know what to say
she wanted to case it but was too fat
in the end, she chases her prey
and she knocked it flat

The cat smiled and gave her cat lady the rat
as a peace offering and gift for the new year
and sat down to pray to the Cat Gods
smiling at her bemused cat lady
