Forgive

Whenever forgiveness is hardest to fathom
and tender emotions are never allowed,
you'll find that your good thoughts will also be hardened,
you'll always be living beneath a black cloud.
 
But, when you release your dark feelings, permitting
a healing to enter ~ the pain to depart,
no matter that someone remains undeserving,
it pulls the sharp knife from your own crusty heart.
