Racism

by Raul1

In a world where racism abounds
it's difficult to ignore
when you are singled out
because you are born elsewhere
In the opinion of the majority,
you are inferior

But you are not
"Go home!" They shout

On the other hand, your race
is remarkable
It's meaningful to you and to your descendants

Many disapprove based on skin color
However, you are worthwhile and belong in this world

Believe in yourself
Set goals and work toward them
Become a memorable individual
Show racists you belong

Although, some people won't change their beliefs,
work to end this,
Gather support to fight the spread of racism

Make a difference
it doesn't mean that
you don't make a difference
you do

We can help stop it if we try
Make the right decisions

We can be united despite different colors
Each individual is unique with something to offer
It's what inside that counts
