Telling of the many sides of Jesus

What Jesus is to Me

He is as lovely as roses
Kissed by the dew drops of morning
Drenched in sweet fragrance
The scent enveloping all mankind
 
He is the sunshine
That lightens our days
And the breeze that refreshes our spirits
And soothes our souls
 
He is the Bridegroom that
Comes calling for His bride
The aura of anticipation
Bursting on the scene.
 
He is as a rainbow 
Exploding in an array of colors,
Beautiful to the eye
Releasing to the soul.
 
His Word is love fulfilled
Burning embers of remembrance
Ready to be rekindled
At a moment’s notice.
 
A love such as this
Proven in death
Sealed in resurrection
Is for eternity
